V GREEN and Hindustan Petroleum Partner to Expand EV Charging Network Across India

India’s electric mobility journey received a significant boost with V GREEN partnering with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited to roll out electric vehicle charging infrastructure across fuel stations. The collaboration brings together V GREEN’s expertise in EV charging solutions and HPCL’s vast nationwide network of fuel stations, creating a strong foundation for expanding public charging access in both urban centres and along major highways.

Under this partnership, EV charging points will be installed at selected Hindustan Petroleum fuel stations, transforming them into multi energy hubs that serve both conventional and electric vehicles. With thousands of fuel stations spread across the country, HPCL offers an ideal platform to scale up charging infrastructure quickly and efficiently. This approach is expected to improve accessibility and convenience for EV owners while addressing one of the biggest barriers to electric vehicle adoption, which is the lack of reliable and widespread charging options.

The collaboration comes at a time when India’s EV market is growing rapidly across passenger vehicles, two wheelers and commercial fleets. As more consumers consider switching to electric vehicles, the availability of charging infrastructure becomes a critical factor in purchase decisions. By placing chargers at familiar and easily accessible fuel stations, V GREEN and HPCL aim to reduce range anxiety and encourage confidence among existing and potential EV users.

For V GREEN, the partnership represents an important step in expanding its footprint in India and supporting the development of a robust charging ecosystem. The company brings experience in deploying and managing EV charging networks, which will be leveraged to ensure reliable operations and user friendly charging experiences. For Hindustan Petroleum, the move aligns with its broader strategy of diversifying beyond traditional fuels and investing in cleaner energy solutions as part of India’s long term sustainability goals.
This initiative also reflects a wider shift in the energy sector, where oil marketing companies are repositioning themselves to remain relevant in a future shaped by alternative fuels and electric mobility. By integrating EV charging into fuel stations, the traditional refuelling model evolves to meet changing consumer needs and environmental priorities.
