The new initiative is designed to make local travel easier for passengers arriving in the city while offering an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional transport options. With electric bikes now available directly at the station, travellers can begin their journey without waiting for buses or autos, making the entire commute smoother and more accessible.
The service operates around the clock and provides a range of rental options that suit both short and long trips. Affordable pricing makes it attractive for daily commuters, tourists and students who want a convenient and cost effective mode of transport. Users can rent an e bike for a few hours or a full day, depending on their needs. Each bike comes fully charged so riders can enjoy uninterrupted travel across the city.
To ensure safety and accountability, customers are required to present a valid Aadhaar card and a driving licence along with a refundable security deposit. The bikes are supplied with helmets and additional protective gear is also available. The fleet includes models capable of covering more than a hundred kilometres on a single charge making them practical for extended rides within Kozhikode and its surroundings.
This new service reflects Kerala’s growing focus on green mobility and modern transport solutions.
