Bajaj Auto has refreshed one of its most iconic motorcycles with the launch of the updated Pulsar 220F in India at a price of Rs 1.28 lakh ex showroom. The latest update focuses on improving safety while keeping the familiar design and performance that have made the Pulsar 220F a favourite among Indian riders for years. This move helps the brand keep the motorcycle relevant in a highly competitive segment where buyers now expect more features and better protection.
The biggest highlight of the new Pulsar 220F is the addition of dual channel ABS. This upgrade significantly improves braking confidence by reducing the risk of wheel lock during sudden braking, especially on wet or uneven roads. For a motorcycle that is often used for both daily commuting and highway riding, this safety enhancement makes a meaningful difference and brings the Pulsar closer to modern safety standards.
Along with the mechanical update, Bajaj has also introduced new colour options and revised graphics to give the bike a refreshed visual appeal. The new shades add a sportier and more premium touch while retaining the aggressive semi fairing design that the Pulsar 220F is known for. These updates are aimed at attracting younger riders while also appealing to long time fans of the model.
Under the bodywork, the motorcycle continues to use the trusted 220cc air and oil cooled single cylinder engine paired with a five speed gearbox. This engine has built a reputation for delivering a good balance of power and reliability, making it suitable for city traffic as well as long highway rides. Since the mechanical package remains unchanged, riders can expect the same familiar performance and riding characteristics.
