The 2027 Kia Sportage Hybrid is set to redefine the compact SUV experience with its combination of power efficiency and modern design. This new model offers both a standard hybrid and a plug in hybrid option. The standard hybrid delivers around 231 horsepower while the plug in version boosts output to approximately 268 horsepower and allows for electric only driving for short trips. All wheel drive is available to enhance handling and stability in various driving conditions.
Fuel economy is a major focus with the hybrid model targeting up to 42 miles per gallon combined and the plug in version achieving over 80 miles per gallon equivalent when using battery power. Kia has equipped the new Sportage Hybrid with a spacious and tech rich interior featuring a large infotainment display, wireless smartphone integration, and advanced voice recognition. Drivers will also benefit from a range of safety and driver assistance features including collision avoidance, lane keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and blind spot monitoring.
