OrangeCat Racing has announced its entry into the 2026 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship as an official BMW Motorrad Motorsport team. This move marks a major step for the Chicago based team after years of success in lower classes, particularly in Stock 1000 competition where they secured multiple wins and podiums. The promotion reflects OrangeCat Racing’s growing reputation and its strong partnership with BMW.
For the upcoming season, the team has signed two experienced riders. Sean Dylan Kelly, a former MotoAmerica Supersport champion with international racing experience, will join alongside Jayson Uribe, a returning rider who has previously raced with the team. Both riders bring skill and determination as OrangeCat Racing aims to compete at the highest level of North American motorcycle road racing.
This new chapter highlights the team’s commitment to excellence and reflects a broader trend of privateer teams stepping up into the premier Superbike category.
