The approval has been granted after certification under the Central Motor Vehicle Rules confirming that the bike meets all regulatory and safety standards required for sale and use on Indian roads. With this nod in place Ola Electric is now free to move closer to customer deliveries bringing its long awaited electric motorcycle plans into reality.
At the heart of this development is the 4680 Bharat Cell a high energy density battery that represents Ola Electric’s ambition to reduce dependence on imported battery technology.
