KTM has strengthened its appeal among young motorcycle enthusiasts with the launch of an updated KTM 160 Duke that now comes equipped with a premium 5 inch TFT display. Priced at around Rs 1.78 lakh ex showroom, the new variant introduces advanced technology that was earlier reserved for larger and more expensive motorcycles, making high end features more accessible to first time performance riders.
The highlight of this update is the full colour TFT instrument cluster, which is inspired by the display seen on bigger KTM models. The screen offers sharp visuals, improved readability in different lighting conditions, and a modern interface that elevates the overall riding experience. It also works with updated handlebar switchgear, allowing riders to navigate menus and settings more intuitively while on the move.
Connectivity is another major draw of the new TFT equipped KTM 160 Duke. With smartphone pairing, riders can access turn by turn navigation, call alerts, and music controls directly on the display when used with compatible Bluetooth accessories. This feature set brings everyday convenience and touring friendly tech to a segment that is increasingly driven by digital savvy buyers.
Despite the tech upgrade, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to be powered by the same 164 cc liquid cooled engine known for its responsive performance and engaging ride quality. The sharp design, lightweight chassis, and sporty handling characteristics that define the Duke series remain intact, ensuring that the bike still delivers on KTM’s performance promise.
